Day 1: Arrive Hathersage
Arrive at your B&B or country Inn at the historic town of Hathersage.
Day 2: Curber Edge Walk (14 or 10 miles)
A stiff climb out of Hathersage takes you up to the boulder strewn Higger Tor, Burbage Rocks & onto the Iron Age fort at Carl Wark. A pleasant walk through the Longshaw Estate takes you to the start of a fantastic ridge walk along Froggatt & Curber Edges with stunning views throughout. After a descent to Curber you join the Derwent Heritage Way which runs by the banks of the River Derwent. You will pass a number of pretty villages, with a number of cosy country pubs to hand.
Day 3: Stanage Edge Walk (7 miles)
This walk starts with a climb to North Lees Hall, made famous by Charlotte Bronte in Jayne Eyre. You will continue up to Stanage Edge to reveal fantastic views over the valleys below. A fine ridge walk takes you along this spectacular ridge, popular with climbers and back down into Hathersage.
