Without exception I had very good or excellent accommodation ranging from pleasingly quirky to luxurious. Food was plentiful and most places were happy to provide some washing/drying services. Wonderful route with beautiful scenery. It was great to spend so much time cycling on relatively quiet roads and experience the changes in the British countryside as we moved North. I also enjoyed cycling through some of the cities – Bristol and Edinburgh in particular were highlights. The route through the Cairngorms was a great experience – the ride up Glenshee and the Lecht were particularly memorable and fun. All the guides were extremely helpful – they made an effort to ensure that we were all ok. They were fun to be with and knowledgeable about the route. I remember feeling really impressed when I arrived at the first brew stop and saw the wonderful selection of food and drink laid out for us. This continued through the tour. I think you have a winning formula, keep up the good work. I would recommend Peak Tours to anyone who wants to ride LEJOG and I hope I will have the chance to use you again for another tour in the future.
