I can’t praise Peak Tours enough

I can’t praise Peak Tours enough for the wonderful D2D I have just enjoyed. Very well crafted and imaginative route, great Guides (Tina, Daryl, Tony, Johnny) and superb, very professional organisation – especially when the weather intervened at Settle. (Those of us within striking distance are going back to fill that section in). I think one of the keys to a great success is The Brew Wagon, which splits long, challenging days up into four manageable sections and ensures we all take on calories and fluids to defeat The Bonk. The personalities of The Guides is not second in importance; they work so hard and are full of encouragement and cheerfulness. I renamed the D2D as Dawn 2 Dusk and Tina, Daryl, Tony and Johnny were grafting from D2D in both senses. I learned such a lot about the country I was brought up in – especially in the South – and the nostalgia on re-visiting the far Northwest brought tears to my eyes. I could say a lot more but I mustn’t go on . . . . . …
See you Monday to pick up the bike.
