The route was wonderful – could not be topped – my favourite cycling and such a mixture of environments. Fabulous views and weather. Inspired to go back and explore further.
Loved the food van and thought the breakfasts were wonderful – the Bayview in Glengarriff was exceptional. Never thought I could manage another Irish breakfast but I’m missing them already. I liked the freedom to choose in the evenings.
So impressed with the hard working guides. Nigel was fantastic, and I loved Bob and Emma. Different skill set with each and as a team offered great strength. Indebted to each of them for their hard work and patience. Everything worked like clockwork, even when the ferry issues caused a minor detour, it was handled with calm and speed. I always knew where I was going, how to get there and my stuff was in place when I arrived. What more could you want?
The tour overall could not be topped. Imagine all that sunshine, fabulous countryside, swimming too. Will go back to experience more of Ireland. We were so lucky but even without the fab weather I would have loved it.
