I thought the route was excellent with some great little roads which kept you away from traffic as much as possible and allowed best enjoyment of the beautiful scenery (the great weather we had helped of course).
The group size was good and the way the trip was run meant that there was no problem going at whatever pace you wanted. Some people liked to go faster, I like stopping to take photos and admire the scenery.
The tour was well thought out and I think that Peak Tours have hit on a winning formula for a cycling tour.
Even when problems arose such as the second ferry not running an effective work around was devised which worked very well.
I will certainly look at the other trips that are on offer for a holiday next year.
Nigel was excellent particularly considering Bob and Emma had been co-opted in to support him at short notice. Nigel worked tirelessly to make sure we enjoyed the trip – his efforts were much appreciated.
