Loved cycling the route – from what I can remember I think it has improved – although I know this is the 10 day version.
Good roads, fabulous scenery and a good balance of the days so tougher days were shorter mileage. There was lots of climbing and, I have to say, I was glad I warmed up on the Cols trip.
Brew stops were good as usual, I like the way we get things from bakeries! Lots of fruit, but it’s the Haribo that keeps me going ? Nigel makes a great picnic which allows you to eat what you feel like; however, the lunches were also good.
Another great tour – really enjoyed it. Up to Peak Tours usual standards. I never hesitate to recommend you because you consistently deliver excellent cycling trips.
Always ended the day looking forward to another day in the saddle.
