Dawes Galaxy Plus Touring Bike – 3 Days Hire
The Galaxy Plus is a new member to the Dawes team and steps up to the mark with some subtle but brilliant features like a Reynolds 520 Chromoly frame, chromoly fork, Shimano 27 speed gears and Shimano ST-4603 STI levers, mechanical disc brakes, Shimano Deore 48/36/26 Chainwheel, 700cc x 32mm Schwalbe Marathon tyres, 9 speed 11-32 cassette. Frame Sizes 48, 53, 58cm. Weight = 14.5kg. The Galaxy Plus is designed to be strong, comfortable and the mile eating workhorse that everyone expects from a Dawes touring bike.
We have adapted the Galaxy Plus bike so that the handlebars are flat bars with bar ends (as opposed to drop bars).
Bikes come fitted with 2 bottle cages, cycle computer, lights, mudguards, bell and a rear rack for panniers. All hire bikes also come with a pannier bag with a pump, puncture repair kit, waterproof cover and bike lock. We can also provide a map holder and helmet if required.
