Accommodation was of a high standard throughout. They each had their own characteristics of course, from the sleek and modern in Annecy to the friendly personal service at Auberge Edelweiss. Here the food was also excellent, and we ate there on both nights.
For me this tour lived up to expectations, great scenery, mainly great weather, hard cycling and the feeling of exhilaration when you reach the top of a famous climb. All of this accompanied by the usual Peak Tours package of excellent guides, organisation and the informal but professional approach which makes the tour a great experience for everyone.
