I did the Channel to Med 5th to 20th May with Peak Tours and can only describe it as absolutely fantastic. The route was unbelievable, the scenery too beautiful to describe in words, impressive chateau’s, medieval towns, castles, mountains, vineyards and a great group of fellow cyclists of varying ages and abilities. What more could you want
The route is as described on Peak Tours website. All the hotel accommodation was good and as usual with Peak Tours they were often at the top of a short climb but all were in lovely locations. The route along the top of Gorge of Verdon was spectacular and well worth the climb of getting to the top…
The tour guides, Rob, Tony and Isabelle were exceptional, they could not have been more helpful. The brew wagon followed the same format as the LEJOG, coffee stop between start and lunch and another between lunch and destination, lunch was sometimes in café, pubs or as a relaxing picnic under the trees.
